Albert Docks
In recent years the city of Liverpool has become the brand as a fun vibrant, multicultural city. This change of brand has been synthesized by the name of the city is European Capital of Culture for 2008, which saw many regeneration projects, exhibitions, cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Everyone, although in the past Liverpool has not been known for its cultural quality of the city is full of art galleries, museums and places of historical importance. One of the warmest areas near Liverpool at the moment is the Albert Dock which is a unique mix of historical culture, businesses and developers with a series of stylish bars and clubs. The springs are home to the Tate, which is famous for its unique collection of modern and contemporary art, combined with more traditional activities, from national and international collections. Another great attraction of the Albert Docks, which is a must for any fan of rock and roll, or just passionate about music in general, is the story of the Beatles. The experience takes visitors through a unique glimpse into the life, times, culture and music of one of the greatest bands of all time! The original instruments played by band members, along with an incredible recreation of the famous Cavern Club where The Beatles played some of his first concerts ever do this tour alone, should make one for every visitor to Liverpool. In contrast to cultural sites and historic Albert Docks are some bars and pubs in the area of the springs that make for a great night too. All bars while some fairly expensive and offer a good night clubs and a host of local celebrities are often the company inside and out. Besides offering a good night at the Albert Docks also provide some good places to rest your eyes afterwards, with some of the best hotels in Liverpool, perhaps some of the best hotels in England. More hotels in Liverpool, are of good quality and relatively cheap!
