John Lennon: He Asked To Give Peace A Chance
He dreamed of world peace. He was an artist, poet and voice of the hippie generation explicit. It was an influential musician, a peace activist, an absent father and a loving and devoted husband. The abuse of alcohol and drugs, sneered at normality, but has taken time off from his career as a rock and roll to raise the child. But above all, he was a Beatle. It was and still is, John Winston Lennon.Born in Liverpool October 9, 1940, John Lennon was murdered on 8 December 1980 by a fanatical fans. The world mourned her death, when millions afflicted by the man who was the heart and soul of the world's best rock and roll, had Beatles. He unusual childhood, shuttling between his mother Julia and her sister Mimi. John then spent his formative years with his Aunt Mimi and Uncle George and, as noted Mimi, his mind was all the time, and was a drawing or writing poetry or reading.Yet, was a rebellious young people , stubborn and disobedient in crisis. Failed to art school, but he swore to his aunt that "one of these days I'll be famous and you'll be sorry. John had a premonition of things to come, as I knew it was a little" different from most people. Looking back, he explained: I always knew I would do it, but was not sure from the event. I knew it was only a matter of time. There many words to describe John Lennon. called himself a leader, but some of his best work alone. It was a wife beater alleged, very frank, often off the controversial quotes to the media, or to make a point or just outlandish. But when he spoke, people listened. The Beatles led the boundaries of music more than any other group. They come out of tourism. His last concert was in San Francisco at Candlestick Park August 29, 1966. They were so big. But John thought the concert had become a freak show, you could not hear the music and the only reason for being was to the Beatles and play music from the decision to travel was also following one of the most controversial appointments in the history of rock and roll. In an interview, John made the 'mistake of saying that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus This appointment has caused a great game with the boycott and burning of Beatles records public. His manager, Brian Epstein, an immediate press conference and John reluctantly apologized and said what he said was wrong. Someone might have said something and then move on to even bigger celebrity? He was a partner with his childhood friend, Paul McCartney and together they left a partnership in writing music and assets that are unmatched in this day and can never be. The Beatles, with their producer George Martin, the music has changed drastically, study techniques that had never been attempted. They pioneered the concept album "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, that the editors of the magazine list Rolling Stone as the band's most rock era.He had the attention of our government, with its protests against the war and at one point was under FBI investigation. She sang of love and peace and live in harmony with all people coming together as a alone. There are some who called him a genius. Could be bad, spiteful and petty. He fought his demons and think I was winning until 8 December, 1980.We can only recall his career from the beginning to the end and that not know the story of four boys from Liverpool. He was a member of the group that changed rock and roll history. We can only wonder what John Lennon would have done if he were alive today. How is active in promoting peace in the world? would still create wonderful art of rock and roll? All we can do is imagine, and it is shame that all.Copyright 2006 Robert Benson
