The Beatles - Who Were They?
This is the first in a series of articles trying to understand a little "more about the life and times of The Beatles. Let's look at his history, his time in Hamburg, his time at the Cavern Club, their time in United States, and the time spent in the studio, along with other fascinating little-known facts that have surfaced in recent years. No doubt the Beatles are a landmark, once, and even if you are doing for 40 years since we broke up, his fame and his influence remains strong today as it was in 1960, and every '70. I grew up in the era of the Beatles, and around the world I've traveled around the world have known and loved. I remember being in a small nightclub in Thailand, where there was a game of Chinese Beatles tribute band, and although I personally do not appreciate the sound it produces, especially the singing, were immensely popular with the locals. In other occasion, I was on holiday in Peru, half of a mountain I met a group of Peruvians do his kind of music on pipes, but the song that played was "Love Me Do. So were the Beatles? Well let me start by saying the basics, something many of you reading this know, but for many of our younger readers this basic information can be something that never had a handle. The Beatles were a pop group (as was said in those days) and came from a town in northern England, known as the Liverpool. The group consisted of John Lennon played rhythm guitar and vocals, Paul McCartney, who played guitar, bass and vocals, George Harrison, who played the guitar and vocals, and Ringo Starr playing drums and voice. Two other names were former members - Pete Best, drums and Stuart Sutcliffe, bassist. I think if you had asked the Beatles What was your style of music in the early days, would probably say that was heavily influenced by rock and roll and skiffle. Later, this style has changed a lot "but that was his early influence. Now it is true that not only were influenced by many previous groups and styles of music, but had a great influence on many groups that came after them . His music, the clothes they wore, the things he has said and done, everyone has had an enormous influence on young people of the time, 1N 1960. When the group finally disbanded in 1970, John, Paul, George and Ringo have all continued their solo careers, and we'll be looking at these races in more detail in articles for publication.
