Footballer Profile - Craig Bellamy
Craig Bellamy is a player that opposing fans love to hate. He is always sure of a hostile and subject to a bit less than most songs in tribute - and even hobbyists who like to see the players show their enthusiasm and commitment of the team for Bellamy is so well known. You never be far from the headlines - and beyond - Craig Bellamy was one of the most striking acquisitions Manchester City in their attempts to break into the top of the Premier League, but so far has justified the money paid by Mark Hughes he. making his debut in the city of Norwich in March 1997, Bellamy has since played at least 6 other English clubs, besides having a season in Scotland with Celtic. Coventry, Newcastle, Blackburn Rovers, Liverpool and West Ham were all "ports of call" for this pocket dynamo of a striker, whose style of all the action gets more attention from experts at the expense of his undoubted ability awareness and position. Indeed, Hughes, his current manager, and fellow Welsh international striker, has no doubts about the quality of play and professionalism. Bellamy's career has often been noted for its controversy as it was for both their soccer skills, however. Known for throwing a chair at his former coach at Newcastle renewed dispute with Graeme Souness and threatening to fake an injury to not play out of position, with the golf club incident''with John Arne Riise in a mid-season break in Portugal, drop fences with West Ham this season and even at risk at work slapped a fan who invaded the field during the Manchester derby. Despite all this, every time Craig Bellamy is being interviewed on TV always strikes the viewer as articulate, thoughtful, and very reasonable. In that referees do not see it as likely to cry when it is directly in the face asking for a penalty! The timing of the most successful of his career so far was probably when Bellamy played in front with Alan Shearer at Newcastle, Sir Bobby Robson when he was director, and his time at Celtic when the club won the Scottish Cup - remains their only major trophy. It was during the crisis of Newcastle that Craig was elected Young Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association. Since 1998, Craig has gained 57 caps for Wales - recently as captain - and has scored 17 goals. It remains a very important member of John Toshack's team - along with Simon Davies Fulham is one of the few players with experience helping short what is essentially a very young team. Since joining Manchester City in January 2009, Bellamy has made some fundamental goals - starting with the winner on his debut at Newcastle. At the time of writing, he played 19 games for the Eastlands side, and scored 8 goals. As always, however, was much more to his game is not only a goal, Craig Bellamy, the rhythm, not stop running, fierce competition binding and intelligent to play all say it has become a big favorite local fans and a key part of the team at the Sky Blues'. Follow booed every trip, though!
