Liverpool Fc - Times Changing?
This week has seen us return to form, typical of previous seasons Liverpool. The loss was disappointing for Chelsea and has seen our hopes of being more vulnerable to capture away. Robben act to get Reina sent off left a bitter taste and does nothing to improve the growing rivalry between the two clubs. It's been a disappointing response from Robben, although some say it is not surprising. Liverpool decision not to appeal the expulsion Queen means a return to first team to Dudek. Unfortunately, it was another game to forget for Liverpool. Dudek, first out of Istanbul, when she saw him give a penalty, even if the decision has raised the most controversy. Dudek was furious after Bent admitted diving immediately, only to be silent once the penalty was awarded. Charlton's second goal was worth less important, and the poor performance of the Liverpool players should not be hidden behind that decision. Recent defeats have led to a panic reaction from some fans and the concerns we have shown good form this season is going back to mediocrity. However, this week should be seen as a sign of continued progress in Liverpool. Times have changed for the better, and Benitez has shown itself capable of giving the team a great need for consistency. With some tough games as the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United "Coming Up, Liverpool have another chance to prove they can compete with the best and will be consistent rivals.
