Great British Sporting Events

In this article I wrote about some of the most famous British sporting events which take place annually. My name is Steve Hill from Birmingham and I like watching most sports, especially soccer, tennis, billiards, horse racing and cricket. They are waiting for World Cup Cricket and the winter Ashes tour in Australia. These are sports that are not made on an annual basis, but every four years against the World Cup and, usually every two years for the series of ash. Horse racing has two massive sporting events in its annual calendar, the Grand National and the Derby. Grand National must be my favorite of these two, as is usually full of incident, is a ski jump and there is much more than an opportunity for the outsider in the race. Usually there are forty horses in this race which in itself makes it an exciting and spectacular career. The race takes place at Aintree in Liverpool found. The derby is also famous worldwide and is a flat race. This race, which runs in the races at Epsom Downs and has some of the best racehorses from around the world. World Cup is one of my favorite sporting events of the year. Some people may argue that it has lost some of its appeal in recent years, but I disagree. This year, as an example of so-called smaller teams in the West Ham United failed to reach the final and were, in my opinion very unlucky not to win the trophy. It must be said however that, in general, one of the four groups do not generally win the cup, these teams are Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Formula One Grand Prix event is another great British sporting calendar. This is for all events that I'll write about is probably my least favorite, but still worth seeing, even for someone like me who is not really a motor racing fan. In recent years, when the drivers as Nigel Mansell raced this event was much more exciting. Today, no serious contenders British, who in my eyes has lost some of its charm. I am sure, however, many other observers of the real motor sport would not agree with me. The Wimbledon tennis championships are always of interest to anyone, like me, as I like to see not only sports, but I also like the odd game of tennis. In the last ten years, Tim Henman gave Britain something to scream and putting in some performances in Stirling, the maximum pressure. It is a pity that he could not reach the final and win the tournament. With a new kid on the block in the form of Andrew Murray, this event will continue to offer emotional and spills for British tennis fans. In golf it is the British Open. This tournament is not as exciting as the Ryder Cup is held every two years, but still very exciting to see, and there is always an opportunity to experience a British winner. Beware a young man named Luke Donald in the coming years, as I think has some great victories of the tournament. These are just some of many major sporting events held every year in Britain. I mentioned some of my favorites, I hope you find these tournaments as I do. Stephen Hill helps to promote a number of websites including: stuttering treatment self-help rental blue tooth wireless
